Youth Development Professionals are the cornerstone of the Club Experience. Whether they are creating fun activities, empowering youth leaders, or setting high expectations, our YDPs bring the key elements of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta to life. During these uncertain times, it is even more important for youth to have a safe and encouraging support network; meaning that you have the opportunity to make a positive, life-long impact on the lives of the youth we serve.
Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Youth Development Professional is responsible to provide planning, coordination, and implementation of activities and programs while practicing social distancing, and safety and infection prevention protocols such as sanitization and the requirement of face coverings. A variety of programs are provided which includes: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.

We are looking for Part-time and Full-time applicants with a maximum of 25-40 hours per week. Hourly wage is based upon qualifications and experience. Professional development opportunities and additional hours are available contingent upon performance, funding, and approval.
Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am-4:30 pm.
