Tehama County: Workforce Coordinator/ 20 hours
We are currently hiring for a Wellness Center Coordinator to work in our Tehama Work Force program. Position will work under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Supervisor shall support the supervisor in creating schedules and overseeing the workforce staff.
Primary responsibilities in the Work Force program will be to train and support a staff of adults living with persistent mental illness in a variety of work related settings. Develop an understanding of the Wellness and Recovery model in mental health. Organize and support staff schedule and a calendar of events. Have a basic knowledge of tasks required for specific work related activities: landscaping maintenance, basic food prep, and front desk clerical and reception work. Provide outreach services. Drive a passenger Van equipped with a trailer to work sites.
A background in mental health will be helpful in working with program participants. This individual must be able to use good verbal skills, good judgment, work with diverse groups of people, work independently as well as work with a team to serve program participants. These positions will work with participants within the local community to assist them in achieving their goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in field related to the program. Supervisory experience. Must be able to multi-task and have experience with Microsoft office. All candidates must pass the fingerprinting and background check. Rate of Pay: $18.50
