Poor and the Homeless, Tehama County Coalition (P.A.T.H)
Salary: $14.00 per hour
Hours/Schedule: This is a full time, 40 hour/week exempt position that may include some overnight shifts and weekends.
Successful seasonal employment may extend to permanent year round employment based on job performance.
The Emergency Winter Shelter is an emergency, life-saving shelter that is run by P.A.T.H Poor and the Homeless Tehama County Coalition, a non-profit organization located in Tehama County. The Winter Shelter is intended to be a life-line to those who would otherwise be unsheltered, in keeping with our mission statement. “To prevent and alleviate homelessness whenever possible in Tehama County, and to provide programs that encourages individuals to become self-sufficient.” This includes helping to end homelessness in Tehama County by meeting basic needs, providing case management, life skills training, social services and permanent housing, offering a path from homelessness to stable independent living.
Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Shelter Manger provides for the day to day administration, program development and clinical operations for the Emergency Shelter.

The EWS Manager supports P.A.T.H.’s mission of assisting homelessness to independence by providing direct service, supervision and management of the EWS, staff and to program participants, helping them adapt to community living and program policies, and ensuring effective operation of the shelter program.

Work station: Various host sites throughout the shelter season, P.A.T.H. Office
